Its BACK TO SCHOOL Season!!

And we couldn’t be more thrilled!!
It warms our heart when the college kids from Georgia College & State University and Georgia Military College and groups like the Alpha Tau Omega at Georgia College get into town and we receive phone calls from them all and texts saying
“ Hey we are BACK !!! Lets build something!!! We have missed you all !!”

What a blessing to have this friendship and partnership with these amazing young adults that will become leaders in our community and in their future families!! ❤️
Along with learning skills to where they can be selfless and serve others as they grow individually !!!

How can I help? I am unable to volunteer during week days!!!

The Center of Hope is opening SOON and there will be volunteer opportunities within the walls of our building, but one of the most important aspects of what we are doing goes well beyond those walls, and lifts upwards toward our Heavenly Father !!

We need volunteers committed to being our communities PRAYER WARRIORS!!

We will be helping people with food and clothing assistance, and other programs, but we want to also establish relationships with our neighbors and be dedicated to praying for their needs and together seeing the realness and healing ❤️‍🩹 that comes through the faithfulness of praying !
Each Neighbor that comes in for Assistance will have a personal shopper that will assist them as they make their selections of what their family needs, but they also will Foster conversations and ask specifically about their prayer needs .
Prayer is a power tool connecting up to our Heavenly Father

James 5:16
“ the prayers of a righteous person has great power as it is working “

At Brighter Days we want to be intentional with our faith and with sharing the realness of Christ love and how effective prayer is so please come alongside us and if you’re unable to volunteer in person become a dedicated prayer warrior!

2026 GCSU Gives Day was a great day!
We had over 90 students on our site putting in the hard work to stock shelves and deep clean our Center of Hope , ahead of our Grand opening and cleaned out rooms upon rooms of old debris and old clothing for , God willing, the next phase of growth for our ministry and for providing services to the community in the future!!
Hard work produces results when love ❤️ and compassion combine to make a difference in our community!!
Thanks to all the freshman from Georgia College & State University for making 2026 Gives Day a success!!!
