🎂🐾❤️ MY BIRTHDAY WISH THIS YEAR IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT… ❤️🐾🎂
Another year older, another year of lessons learned, challenges faced, tears shed, and lives touched. ❤️
This year, for my birthday, I’m not asking for gifts, flowers, or anything for myself. Instead, I’m asking for something that means so much more to me.
I’m asking for help to keep doing what I do. 🐾
Through Kitten Corner & Puppy Street, I’ve had the privilege of helping animals and the people who love them. Some days it’s rewarding beyond words. Other days, it’s emotionally, physically, and financially exhausting. But even on the hardest days, I know why I keep going.
Because somewhere out there is an animal who needs a meal, a ride to the veterinarian, or medical care that their family simply cannot afford.
And sometimes, all it takes is a little help to make an enormous difference.
For my birthday this year, I’m asking anyone who would normally send me a gift or birthday money to consider putting that toward helping me continue this work.
❤️ Transportation expenses to get animals back and forth to veterinary appointments.
❤️ Veterinary expenses for animals whose families are struggling financially.
❤️ Food assistance for families who are having difficulty keeping their pets fed.
One of the hardest things I’ve witnessed is someone having to choose between buying their own medication and getting medical care or food for their beloved animal.
And I understand that struggle more personally than most people realize.
I’ve been there myself.
I’ve stood in that position, looking at what little money I had and knowing there wasn’t enough for everything. And more times than I care to admit, my animals won over my own needs.
I know what it’s like to love an animal so deeply that you sacrifice your own comfort, your own necessities, and sometimes even your own health to make sure they’re okay.
And if I can help someone else avoid having to make that heartbreaking choice, even just once, then everything I’m doing is worth it.
🐾 I’m not setting a fundraising goal.
There’s no magic number I’m trying to reach. No thermometer to fill. No deadline.
I’m simply trying to make things a little easier.
A little easier for the person who can’t afford gas to get their dog to the vet.
A little easier for the senior citizen choosing between prescriptions and cat food.
A little easier for the family facing an unexpected veterinary emergency.
And maybe, just maybe, a little easier for me to keep answering when someone reaches out and says, “I don’t know where else to turn.”
🎁 If you’d like to give me a birthday gift this year, please consider making a donation to help me keep helping them.

I don’t need anything extravagant for my birthday. I don’t need presents wrapped in pretty paper.
What I want is to keep making a difference, one animal, one family, and one act of compassion at a time. ❤️
I know I can’t save them all. I learned that heartbreaking lesson a long time ago. But I can keep trying to make life better for the ones who cross my path.
And with a little help from my Village, maybe we can make that path a little less difficult for everyone.
Thank you for another year of love, friendship, encouragement, and support. Thank you for believing in what I do, even on the days when I’m exhausted and struggling to keep going.
If my birthday can help put food in a bowl, get an animal to the veterinarian, or keep someone from having to choose between their own medication and their pet’s needs, then I can’t imagine a better gift. 🥹❤️🐾
🎂 Here’s to another year of helping the ones who need us most.
With love and gratitude,
Rhonda ❤️🐾
