Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts bowed in deep gratitude and profound reverence. On this Memorial Day, we pause as a nation to remember the men and women who answered the call of duty and laid down their lives for the cause of freedom. We Thank You for their courage, their selflessness, and their willingness to stand between danger and the land they loved. Your Word reminds us that there is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one's friends, and today, we honor that ultimate expression of devotion.
Lord, we ask that You never allow the memory of their sacrifice to fade from our hearts. May we never take for granted the liberties we enjoy today—the freedom to speak, to gather, to worship, and to live in peace. Let their legacy inspire us to live with greater unity, kindness, and purpose. May we honor them not just with our words today, but with the lives we lead every single day.
We lift up a special prayer for the families of our fallen heroes. They, too, have given a sacrifice that words cannot fully measure. Comfort the mothers, fathers, spouses, children, and siblings who carry the heavy weight of an empty chair at their tables. In their moments of deep sorrow, wrap them in Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Reassure them that their loved one's sacrifice was not in vain, and that they will never be forgotten by a grateful nation. Guide us today as we gather in togetherness. Whether we share a meal, a story, or a quiet moment of reflection, keep our hearts anchored in gratitude. May the memory of our fallen soldiers remain forever bright, gone from our sight but never forgotten in our souls. In Your holy and comforting name, we pray.

As I prepare for next week’s event, I’m happy to say we are officially halfway there.

All men’s clothing — in a wide range of sizes, as shown in the photo — will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

In addition, we currently have:
• Two totes filled with shoes
• Bathing suits available for the upcoming summer weeks
• Purses, belts, and bras available for anyone in need

Our next step is organizing all women’s clothing sizes to ensure everything is easily accessible for attendees.

For anyone wondering, every item provided at this event has been generously donated. Before being made available to the public, all items are sanitized and disinfected. I take every precaution possible to ensure each item is in the best condition possible. Any items that are stained or damaged are separated and donated to textile recycling instead.

Our April website statistics are in, and I truly cannot express how grateful and encouraged I am by the support and growth we are seeing. Knowing that our organization’s name is reaching more people in the community means so much to us.💛

Thank you to everyone who continues to like, share, recommend, and support our mission. Word of mouth remains one of the most meaningful and impactful ways to help a growing nonprofit organization reach those who may need our services or want to get involved.

As we continue expanding our outreach efforts, we kindly ask that you keep our organization in mind for future donations, including clothing, hygiene items, haircare products, or monetary contributions. Every donation directly supports the individuals and families we serve within our community.

We have exciting goals and outreach initiatives planned for 2026, and we are incredibly thankful to have such a supportive community alongside us for the journey. 🙏🏼✨
