Reach Out LaFond - Preventing restavik, street children, and orphanage abuse through education, restoration, and reconnecting familes.

Training up Godly, ethical leaders for a better Haiti. Reach Out is a 501c3 non-profit group committed to educating the young while keeping the family unit together. Through education and extra ciricular activites we work to encourage the economic and spiritual growth in these young minds. Only about 60% of the children in Haiti attend school. This number drops to around 20% when the students hit

high school. It is our desire to see these number increase. It is our desire to share the love of Christ, keep families together and encourage young people to dream for a brighter future and to give them the skill set to not only dream but to reach those dreams.

🌟 Day 23 of Walk for Hope: Meet Rachel! 🌟

Rachel has had a heart for LaFond since her very first trip to Haiti in 2011. As an educator, advocate, and longtime supporter of the community, she continues to invest her time, talents, and love into making a difference. We’re so grateful to have her walking alongside us in support of Hope Haiti!

This is a historic moment for Haiti, making their first World Cup appearance since 1974. Through decades of challenges and adversity, the Haitian people have continued to show incredible resilience, strength, and pride.

Meet one of our Walkers for Hope for Haiti, Ryan “Doc” Crim! 👟🇭🇹

Ryan serves as our Chief Growth Officer (CGO) and has been practicing family medicine in Carlisle, Pennsylvania since 2000 and, he has been traveling to Haiti to serve need since 2012.

This June, Ryan is taking on the challenge of walking 80 miles to help bring hope, support, and resources to the people of Haiti.

This June, join Reach Out Lafond’s 3rd Annual Walkathon: Walk for Hope Haiti! - 80 for 80.

We’re walking 80 miles in 30 days to stand with the 80% of Haitian youth who may never have the opportunity to attend high school.

Each participant has a goal to raise just $10 per mile - that’s $800 total. And the best part? That can be as simple as 10 friends giving $80 each.
