Hey mamas! Didn't qualify for WIC before? Maybe you do now? See below the new guidelines.

As of June 1st, 2026, the Michigan WIC income eligibility limits have increased. If you previously thought your family made too much to qualify for WIC benefits, it’s time to check again!

WIC is open to pregnant individuals, new moms, breastfeeding parents, and families with infants and kids under age 5 (including dads, grandparents, and foster parents!)

As the temps increases, so does your need for water intake. Most pregnant mamas do not realize that dehydration contractions are real. Dehydration is a common and often overlooked trigger for uterine contractions during pregnancy. Because blood volume increases significantly during pregnancy, a lack of fluids reduces blood flow to the uterus, causing it to cramp. This can trigger uncomfortable Braxton Hicks or potentially lead to preterm labor. Do yourself and your baby a favor, and stay hydrated, you both will be much happier.

Hey all you pregnant mamas! Did you know we have maternity clothes, open to the public for shopping, including dressing room space. We are open today, Thursday from 10-3:00. All items are on a donation based purchase, 'take what you need, give what you can'.

We are looking for donations of cases of water bottles (any brand). We use them for clients, doulas and outreach events. If you feel led to donate some, we will be open on Thursday from 9-4 this week and 9-3 Thursday, May 7th. We are excited to begin a new doula training this May! Have you ever considered becoming a doula? Is giving back to your community in a meaningful way something of interest to you? Consider becoming a volunteer birth doula. Training includes several sessions, hands-on, shadowing births, reading books and a final exam.
