The Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, Independent Order of Odd Fellows

The Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, Independent Order of Odd Fellows An Odd Fellow Lodge is a good place to be. You'll like meeting good people, making new friends, enjoying the pleasures of new experiences.

While Oddfellowship does not and never has had any monopoly for the developing of those virtues, which tend to produce good, upright men and women, it does, however, provide the opportunity for them to become character, integrity and real brotherhood. But few united in a common effort to promote the building of people are able to achieve these distinctive moral qualities simply by their own effort

s. Hence, to such, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows of the World extends the helping hand of true Fellowship so that all who may strive to find a common purpose in their lives may join together with others in serving, to the best of their ability, their GOD, their Country and their Fellowmen.

With a little TLC, FLT was brought back. Though the charter was damaged by smoke, it adds some character to the document now that it can survive anything. The heat from the fire broke the glass in such a peculiar shape.

The frames were all cleaned, and the glass was replaced. Lewistown Lodge No. 97 has a beautiful charter, the portrait of Thomas Wildey is looking nicer than ever, and our children from the Sunday orphanage in 1920 can be displayed again.

We also restored the two gavels and cleaned The ballot box.
