A new day is a beautiful reminder that God isn't finished with your story. Whatever yesterday looked like, today brings another opportunity to begin again, move forward, and trust God with the road ahead.

"His mercies are new every morning." - Lamentations 3.23

Take a deep breath. Give today to God. And step forward in faith.✨

Not every mission field looks like a jungle or a remote village. Sometimes it looks like a training center in Camdenton, Missouri.

For more than 50 years, Ethnos360 has prepared missionaries there before they head overseas, teaching everything from language acquisition to off grid living. But the facility needs help. Limited staff, aging buildings, and only so many volunteer hands to go around.

That is where FIA comes in. Several times a year we send teams of carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and general laborers to keep the training center running, so Ethnos360 can focus on what they do best: preparing the next generation of missionaries.

Paul Brosey, who leads many of these teams, but it simply: "You might not see friends in Action in their literature, but we are there to support the foundational work they are accomplishing."

Skilled trades. Practical service, Kingdom impact, right here in the States.

Big news! Our keynote speaker for this Annual Awareness Banquet is Jeremy Effler, FIA's West Africa Field Leader.

Jeremy and his wife Jessie have spent years partnering with pastors, church planters, and local believers to bring clean water to communities across West Africa. Drilling a well meets a desperate physical need, but it also opens the door to teach, disciple, and live out the gospel in places that would otherwise never hear it.

Join us Thursday, October 22, doors open at 5:00 PM, event starts at 6:00 PM at The Star Barn at Stone Gables in Elizabethtown, PA. This year's theme: Many Still Thirst. Where Water Flows, the Gospel Grows.

Buffet Dinner, dessert Bar, international door prizes, and mission updates from around the world.

James Tumwesiigye could have hired a drill crew when he needed a well dug at his home in Lusanja, Uganda. Instead, he hired men from his own village, so he could build relationships and share the gospel with his community.

That decision led to Milandila Community Missions, and eventually to a partnership with FIA. Since then we have helped construct James and Morgan's home, a team guest house, and now a clinic that will care for woman and families in the area.

Every project looks different, but the pattern stays the same. Practical work opens the door. Relationships walk through it. A local man named Medi, who had no trade skills when he started, is now asking questions about Jesus after weeks of working alongside our team.

This is what partnership looks like at FIA. Not doing it for people. Doing it with them.

"I have no hope. There is no hope." That is what a security guard told our field leader Mike Butler at the wharf in Wewak, Papua New Guinea, right after Mike wished him a happy new year.

Make came back the next day with a bible and a book called The Story That Matters. He knelt down beside his friend and told him about a hope that does not run out.

The guard was so grateful. Then two more men at the gate asked for a Bible of there own.

Some of the most important gospel conversations FIA has ever had happened at a loading dock, not a pulpit. Never underestimate a five minute conversation.

This week our team is at Liberty University for Global Focus Week 2026. With opportunities to speak in classrooms and students stopping at the info table, Betty, Jenn, Suzy, and Andy have kept quite busy!

Day two with three more to go, keep our folks in your prayers as they seek to challenge students to follow where God is may be leading them.

Whether that’s a short-term team or an internship like Ella experienced last year. May God move on this campus to empower the next generation of global workers.

Twenty five to thirty villages. Roughly 3,500 people. Families walking two to three hours round trip just to carry water home.

That is the need our team is working to meet in Vanuatu. This year the plan changed. An earthquake reshaped the mountain we once planned to pipe water from, so our engineers pivoted to a well drilling strategy instead. Five wells, two large storage tanks, and a lot of prayer.

The physical well opens the door. The relationship it builds is what lets the gospel walks through it.

Pray with us as this project moves forward on Espiritu Santo Island.
