At ADAPT of the Hudson Valley, creating safe, engaging and joyful experiences is at the heart of what we do. One of our residential programs just had a fun and delicious ice cream party for our people supported. Everyone had a wonderful time sharing what they are grateful for, while getting creative with their sweet treats. A special thanks to our staff for having this fun event for our friends!

Disability Pride Month is observed every July to celebrate disability identity, commemorate the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and advocate for full community inclusion. Our supported friends were proud to make this banner, centered around this year's theme, “The World Works Better With Us”. All of us at ADAPT of the Hudson Valley proudly continue to advocate for visibility, inclusion, and accessibility in our communities.

July is National Ice Cream Month and what better way to celebrate than with an Ice Cream Party! Our supported friends had so much fun choosing their favorite flavors and toppings! It was the perfect activity for a hot day. A special thanks to our ADAPT of the Hudson Valley staff for organizing this fun activity!
