Dunlap Brothers VFW Post 692 Middletown NY We meet the 4th Wed. each month at 10AM at the Town of Wallkill Community Center, 8 Wes Warren Drive Dunlap and Felix G. Dunlap. Infantry on August 29,1917.

Our post was chartered April 2, 1921 by Arthur Calhoun, A WWI veteran. He was an Army corporal in a unit formed with local railroad men. Their unit was called "first to fight" as they were engaged by the Germans before The AEF arrived. The Post was named in honor of two brothers, Army privates William C. The two brothers were born in Middletown and enlisted in Company 1, 107th U.S. At the time of

their enlistment Felix was 17 and William was 18. The following year both brothers died in France during WWI. Felix died on September 22, 1918 from wounds received in action and William was killed in action on September 29, 1918.
