WEST CARE WOMENS SHELTER

Next program at the women's shelter is June 3rd. We have been sharing delicious prasadam (blessed vegetarian meal), kirtan, art and books with about 50 women at the West Care women's shelter for over 3 years now.

The program is a mommy and me program and excellently run. The women have small children so instead of going to jail for drugs, they are in a special rehab/counseling program at this shelter and get to remain with their children (and the kids attend day care/school during the day on site).

The women love our food, books, coloring books for their kids and art. They also appreciate the love and spiritual thought and care we bring.
And the staff love us... they tell us the women are always happy when we come.. dancing and smiling whereas when other groups come they end up crying.

Were so grateful to offer these programs by the kind assistance of all of our supporters 🙏
