What does a backpack grow?

This back-to-school season, you gave, and God multiplied!

Because of your generosity, thousands of bags, meals and school resources reached children and families who needed them most.

400 University of Mary Hardin-Baylor students packed 4,000 bags with 28,000 meals donated by H-E-B, feeding students at more than 15 Belton ISD schools all year long.

In Tampa, about 120 people were served at Before the Bus alongside Sunshine Health, with backpacks, school supplies and wellness checkups all in one place.

One foster family received matching pajamas for their children, the exact pair one of them had admired at the store just days earlier. Their mom called it a "God hug."

One gift becomes thousands of meals, and one need met makes room for more joy!

After the devastating earthquake in Venezuela, First Baptist Church of Cúcuta, Colombia partnered with One More Child to send a second team of volunteers into the hardest-hit areas — carrying shoes, clothes, food, and emotional and spiritual care for families who lost everything. Here's the beautiful part: children in our Colombia sponsorship program wrote letters of encouragement and hope that were delivered to hurting families. Children who are served... now serving. 💚 This is what sponsorship makes possible. Your sponsorship doesn't just meet a child's needs, it raises up a child who serves others.

This Missing & Trafficked Foster Children Awareness Week, we're proud to stand with See Us Now, a student-led nonprofit working to make sure no foster child goes unseen. With 60% of trafficked children having been involved in foster care, awareness is where prevention begins.

At One More Child, our Anti-Trafficking teams provide crisis support, mentorship, and trauma-informed care to survivors. We work every day to prevent one more child from being exploited.

Awareness is only the first step. Behind the scenes, our Anti-Trafficking teams are providing mentorship and trauma-informed therapy, meeting survivors right where they are. That might mean a therapy session at a kitchen table, a ride to court, or simply showing up consistently until trust is rebuilt.
