The Raider community is growing beyond Miami. 💙

We’re proud to launch the Raider Network, the first of Gulliver’s new regional alumni networks designed to bring Raiders together wherever life takes them.

Led by New York Co-Chairs Saheelan Sinnarajah ’07 and Bret Voith ’07, the network will create new opportunities for alumni to reconnect, build relationships, support one another, and stay connected to Gulliver across generations.

And we’re kicking it off in NYC. 🗽

Join fellow Raiders for the inaugural gathering on Thursday, October 29 at 6:30 p.m. at Grey Heron Apéro Café.

Gulliver alumna and chef Julia Cili '20 recently cooked her way to the final four of MasterChef Season 16, representing Team Europe and proudly celebrating her Italian heritage along the way.

Her journey began with a family-inspired trio of cannoli that earned her an apron and paid tribute to her grandmother, Veronica Cili, who competed on Season 6 of the show.

From earning her apron to making it all the way to the final four, Julia’s incredible run is another example of Gulliver alumni following their passions, taking on new challenges, and making their mark well beyond campus.

Congratulations, Julia! We’re proud to see a fellow Raider shine on the MasterChef stage. 💙

From medicine to entrepreneurship, Dr. Katrina Pardo Iza ’16 is proof that you don’t have to choose just one path.

After discovering her passion for health sciences through Gulliver’s Biomedical Sciences program, Katrina went on to earn her M.D. and begin her General Surgery residency—all while launching a business of her own.

For Mathew Gutierrez ’04, giving back to Gulliver is about carrying forward what the school first gave him. 💙

Now a Gulliver parent, Mathew is watching his children build their own paths in the community that shaped his—and his family is helping ensure future generations have the same opportunity. This spring, the Gutierrez family made a gift in support of Gulliver baseball, naming The Children’s Skin Center Grandstand and bringing together two things deeply meaningful to their family.

Through the IB program and educators who encouraged her to question assumptions, explore different perspectives, and think beyond the “right” answer, Ibis developed a mindset that continues to shape her work in public policy and advocacy today.

“The IB program shaped how I think, how I relate to others, and how I approach building a more inclusive and equitable world.”

From the football field to the world of finance, Conner Vernon ’09 has carried the lessons of Gulliver with him every step of the way.

After a record-setting football career at Duke University and time in the NFL, Conner built a new path in wealth management guided by many of the same values that shaped him as a student-athlete: discipline, accountability, resilience, and strong relationships.

His journey is a reminder that success rarely follows a straight line, but a strong foundation can prepare you to meet every opportunity with confidence, character, and purpose.

Now serving as Chief Tournament Officer for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, Manolo credits his Gulliver experience with instilling the values of teamwork, respect, discipline, character, and hard work, principles that continue to guide him today.

As a proud Gulliver parent and member of the Centennial Committee, he’s helping shape the School’s future while watching the next generation of his family create memories of their own.
