Join Us for Worship Tomorrow – Sunday, June 7, 2026
Have you ever felt God calling you to take a step forward without knowing exactly where the path would lead? Join us tomorrow at 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM, in person or online, for “Stepping into the Unknown”, based on Genesis 12:1–9. In this powerful passage, God calls Abram to leave behind what is familiar and journey toward a future he cannot yet see. It is a story of trust, faith, courage, and the willingness to follow God’s leading even when the destination is unclear.

What do we do when God invites us beyond our comfort zones? How can we move forward when we do not have all the answers? Come explore these questions and discover what it means to trust God one step at a time.

40 Days in the Word – It’s Not Too Late to Join this Bible Class! Have you ever wondered how to get more out of your Bible reading and apply God’s Word more faithfully to your daily life? Join us for 40 Days in the Word, a 6-week study based on Rick Warren’s popular teaching series designed to help Christians develop a deeper love for Scripture and learn practical ways to read, understand, and live out God’s Word.

Sundays through July 5, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Room 20
Drawing from James 1:22, the purpose of this study is to help us become not just hearers of the Word, but doers of the Word, allowing Scripture to transform the way we think, live, and follow Christ each day.

It is NOT too late to join! Whether you missed the first session or are hearing about the class for the first time, we would love to have you join us.

Thank You for Supporting KUMC’s April Mission of the Month! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in Heifer International’s Living Gift Market, our April Mission of the Month. Thanks to your incredible generosity, $6,050 was raised to help transform lives around the world. For many years, the United Women in Faith of KUMC have faithfully supported this mission, helping provide practical and sustainable gifts that empower families to build better futures.

Through Heifer International , families receive livestock, seeds, training, and resources that help them become self-sufficient, improve nutrition, generate income, and strengthen their communities. The impact is especially meaningful for women, who are often empowered with the tools and opportunities to support their families and become leaders in their communities. Florida Annual Conference 2026. This week, June 3–6, United Methodists from across the state will gather in Lakeland for the Florida Annual Conference. The Annual Conference is the primary gathering of United Methodist clergy and lay members from churches throughout Florida. It is a time of worship, prayer, learning, fellowship, and decision-making as we celebrate what God is doing through our churches and discern how God is calling us to serve in the year ahead. Kendall United Methodist Church will be represented by Pastor Ruben and Jessica R., who will attend as our clergy and lay leader delegates. For 2026, the Florida Annual Conference theme is “Faith Rising,” a spiritual call to action that encourages congregations to rise up, actively live out their faith, and bring hope, healing, and the message of Christ to communities facing today's challenges. Please keep the Conference in your prayers, that God would grant wisdom, unity, discernment, and a renewed sense of mission to all who gather.

As we pray, let us remember that KUMC is part of something much larger than ourselves. We are connected to hundreds of United Methodist congregations across Florida and millions of United Methodists around the world, all seeking to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Join us tonight at 6:00 PM for KUMC’s 9th Annual Patriotic & Americana Concert! This free community concert honors the men and women who have served our nation, remembers those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and celebrates the unity that brings us together as a community. Featuring the Kendall Orchestra (35+ musicians!), Kendall Choir, and special soloist Daisy Su, it promises to be an inspiring evening of music and remembrance. This event is always very popular, and seating fills up quickly, so please plan to arrive early. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors, and join us for this special evening. We look forward to seeing you there! Cannot join us in person? The concert will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel (Kendall United Methodist Church) and page, so you can be part of our online audience or watch and enjoy it later at your convenience.
