🧠 Ask yourself…when you go to vote…is it about contracts, control or both? Follow the money!

🤔 “Business groups back Gray. The Committee for a Better Jefferson (CBJ) and the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce are backing school board candidates who support improving test scores, expanding CTE and deferring to the vision of Superintendent James Gray whom the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce publicly supported when he was chosen to lead Jefferson Parish schools in 2020.” —Elyse Carmosino

✅ “Union is backing candidates who prioritize raising teacher pay, strengthening discipline policies, and expanding mental health support for students and employees.” —Elyse Carmosino

As candidates vie for five open seats on the school board, business and education leaders are working to influence the outcome of the Nov. 3 election, basing their endorsements on what they believe the district’s priorities should be.
