What a fabulous opportunity I had today thanks to EVMC Member Linda. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the amazing Gladys Grad, creator of Siamese Mah Jongg!

Gladys created this incredible two-player version of Mah Jongg in 2015, and it has since taken the Mah Jongg world by storm. It was such a special experience to spend time with the woman whose creativity has brought a whole new way to enjoy the game we all love.

What a lovely and gracious woman! We are so grateful Gladys welcomed us into her home today and shared her time, stories, and passion for Mah Jongg with us over lunch.

You ask, did we talk about the Black Dragon.....indeed we did!

Definitely a memorable day and one I won't forget! Siamese MAH JONGG

We invite you to attend this Labor Day Open Play at the Prince residence in Chandler, where you will have the opportunity to play on state-of-the-art automated Mahjong tables. Added another venue to our growing number of opportunities for open play for our EAST VALLEY MAHJONG CLUB What a fabulous morning of open play at Red Mountain Recreation Center! 🀄️💕

We’re so excited to add another wonderful venue to the growing list of locations where EVMC members can gather, play, and connect.

Our goal is to continue creating open play opportunities throughout the East Valley—bringing together great people, lots of laughs, and, of course, plenty of Mahjong! 🀄️✨

🀄️ What a busy week at EVMC! 🀄️

Our Mahjong 101 & 102 classes welcomed 32 wonderful ladies for lots of learning, laughter, new friendships, and, of course, plenty of MAHJONGS! 🎉

It’s so much fun watching new players learn the game, gain confidence, and discover why we all love mahjong so much.

What a fun night of mahjong! 🀄️💕

EVMC hosted a fantastic Member & Guest Two-Person Scramble, and the room was filled with friendly competition, lots of laughs, and plenty of mahjong fun!

We loved seeing our members team up, welcome guests, meet new players, and enjoy a different twist on the game we all love.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

Great people. Great competition. Great fun. That’s EVMC!
