Merion Mercy behind the scenes at the PGA Championship ⛳️

Prior to the tournament kicking off at Aronimink this week, Taylor Silver ‘28 and Diahna Stubbs ‘28 joined and other Philadelphia high schoolers for a special access tour of .

During the tour on Wednesday, Taylor and Diahna were able to play the course, test practice simulators, meet PGA members and were even interviewed on air by SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio!

While we wait to see who emerges as the tournament champion, it was clear that Taylor and Diahna won this day 🏆

Congratulations to Sophia Cieplinski '27 as this year's John T. Durkin, PhD, Memorial Scholarship recipient!

In memory of beloved science teacher, Dr. John Durkin, this scholarship is awarded each year to a rising senior who shows exceptional academic promise in the sciences, and ensures Dr. Durkin's legacy continues to inspire future generations of young women.

Standing alongside John's wife, Rebecca Stanley, and John's sister, Rosemary Durkin, Sophia proudly holds Dr. Durkin's lunchbox which is passed down each year to future scholarship recipients.
