Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) started with one lemonade stand, hosted by our founder Alexandra “Alex” Scott in her front yard which raised $2,000. Alex was just 4 years old and battling neuroblastoma when she asked to give the money so doctors can find cures for all children battling cancer. and Canada raising more than $250 million so far, funding over 1,000 research projects and providing programs to families affected by childhood cancer.

Sawyer is a young man with a big personality who always shows so much love for others. When he was diagnosed with germinoma, treatment had to be tailored specifically to him since he also has Down syndrome. Luckily, it worked and today Sawyer has no evidence of disease!

This summer, ACME Markets, Balducci's Food Lover's Market, and Kings Food Markets and their generous customers came together to raise more than $312,000 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, helping fund critical research and bring us closer to better treatments and cures for childhood cancer.

ALSF funded researcher, Dr. Alex Huang, leads the Million Mile Team “Run, Alex! Run!" This year, the team held a lemonade tasting fundraiser at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s featuring eight hospital pediatric department teams competing for best lemonade and best decorations.

For a $5 donation, guests received a fresh donut and eight lemonade samples. The toasted marshmallow lemonade was a highlight 🔥 And who doesn’t love a golden retriever in an Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation bandana?!

Over $1100 was raised at the lemonade tasting fundraiser, helping bring the team's total to over $5,000 for The Million Mile 2026 💛

🎗️ For some kids facing brain tumors, sarcomas, neuroblastoma or other solid cell tumors, proton radiation can be a lifesaving treatment. Unfortunately, there are only about 100 proton centers in the world, and the U.S. is the only country in North America with proton radiation therapy available.

Over 70% of the population lives more than 100 miles from the medical centers offering some of the most critical cancer treatments like proton radiation, leaving it out of reach for too many kids. 💛

We believe facts like these can change. Why?

Because we've seen what your donations can do. We've seen safer treatments emerge. We've seen kids saved who wouldn't have had any options a decade ago. We know a brighter future for all kids with cancer is possible, because your support brings them hope.
