🐾 Our TNR Story: Every Life Counts 🐾
Through our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program, we have been able to change the lives of so many community cats—one colony at a time.
Every cat we TNR represents a story that will no longer end in suffering, overcrowded shelters, or unnecessary euthanasia. Instead of continuing the cycle of endless litters, illness, and struggle, these cats are now given a chance to live healthier, safer lives right where they belong—in their own territory, cared for and protected.
We’ve seen colonies that once grew uncontrollably begin to stabilize. We’ve watched frightened, forgotten cats become part of a managed, healthier population. And most importantly, we’ve prevented thousands of future lives from entering already overwhelmed shelters.
This work matters because every single spay and neuter is more than just a surgery—it is prevention. It is compassion in action. It is the difference between life and loss in an already overcrowded system where shelters are forced to make heartbreaking decisions every day.
Because of your support, your donations, your volunteering, and your belief in this mission, we are breaking the cycle. We are reducing suffering. And we are giving these animals a chance at a better future.

At just 10 months old, Rambo is poised on the threshold of a brighter future, his sweet nature shining through despite a rocky start. Thanks to the care and devotion of our foster, Krystal, Rambo has made remarkable strides, and now it's time for him to find his forever family, where he can continue to thrive and reach his full potential.Bit before he does we need to insure he is neutered and completely vaccinated and off to a great start🐾🐾❤️

🐾 HOW TO REQUEST A MERCED TNR SPONSORSHIP 🐾

Need help covering the cost of your cat’s spay or neuter surgery? Merced TNR may be able to help connect you with sponsors from our community.

Step 1: Take a Clear Photo 📸

Take a clear photo of the cat(s) needing spay/neuter services.

Step 2: Create a Post in the Merced TNR Facebook Group 💙

Include:
✅ A photo of your cat(s)
✅ The number of cats needing sponsorship
✅ The hashtag
✅ The sponsorship amount needed

Step 3: Add the Fundraiser Information 💰

Use the Facebook Raise Money option when available and include:

in your post so supporters can contribute.

Step 4: Include the Sponsorship Amount 🐱

$75 per cat

Example:

“I am seeking sponsorship assistance for 2 cats needing spay/neuter services. Total needed: $150. ”

• Consider collecting cans or recyclables to help offset costs
