We had a great time on our Zen Gardens trip today to Rockford, IL. We started at the Anderson Japanese Gardens which were green, serene and tranquil. We had an excellent lunch at Stockholm Inn before heading over to the Tinker Swiss Cottage. This three story mansion dates back to 1865 and was an astonishing place, so beautiful with ornate paintings on the walls. We finished our day at Zammuto’s for some sorbet.
