We Are Memphis We are Memphis. Welcome to our city of soul. Don’t forget to bring yours.

It takes soul to be a Memphian. That’s what drives this unstoppable city.

It takes soul to find a rhythm that’s all your own, to give more than you take, and to change the world around you. We are a city of doers, dreamers and believers. For those who change the world – welcome home.

Some of the best ideas in this city start with a parent and a wish for more ✨ That’s the whole reason Andrew Mathewes and Lindsey Shan. built Stomping Grounds 901, a Midtown clubhouse open breakfast to bedtime where they wholeheartedly believe being a parent shouldn’t be so hard! Most of us pass those UT Health Sciences College of Pharmacy buildings and wonder what’s really happening on the inside 🧐 In one of them, Dr. Sudeshna Roy is designing molecules aimed at tuberculosis, and she’ll tell you herself that her team of researchers are playing a big part in that work! One of them, Destinee Manning, is doing that work without ever having to leave the city she’s from. Turns out soul lives in a fume hood too! 🧪 Read more on Dr. Roy and her amazing research team with the 🔗 in bio ⬆️
