✨ Sometimes, even amazing women need a spark.

The Greater Memphis Chamber’s Women’s Business Council recently gathered for Women Who Ignite, an inspiring conversation between Trevia Chatman, President of Bank of America Memphis, and Carmeon Hamilton, interior designer, entrepreneur, author, television personality, and creative visionary.

When Trevia asked Carmeon how she navigates imposter syndrome, Carmeon shared a lesson her father taught her in the first grade: “I’m no better than no one, and no one is better than me.”

From designing the 2024 HGTV Urban Oasis Home to launching Nubi Interiors and Hamilton Media Inc., Carmeon has built an incredible career while carrying that simple wisdom with her every step of the way.
It was a powerful reminder that confidence does not mean never doubting yourself. It means remembering that you have every right to be in the room.
