Please send your prayers and good thoughts to Egg McMuffin 🙏

Egg McMuffin was brought to us about two weeks by a Good Samaritan who found him in Medford.

It was obvious he had something wrong with his eyes which we believe is entropion, a condition where the eyelids turn in on themselves and the lashes end up poking the eye.

Yesterday we found blood in his litter box and bedding. I (Danielle) spent 3 hours with him at the emergency vet. It was discovered that he’s vomiting blood. He was extremely dehydrated, has a UTI, elevated white blood count and an open abscess that was covered by matting on his rear leg.

The blood may be caused by parasites or even cancer. He may be septic at this point so the next few days will be crucial. Please send Egg McMuffin your thoughts and prayers ❤️

Mocha is such a handsome boy. We just love his sweet personality. We may never be able to pet him, but he shows his love in other ways. We’re happy that Mocha is here with us at the sanctuary ❤️

Carns Furever Farm would like to thank the amazing students from Sequoia Alternative School Marlton,Savannah,Eddie, Adeline, Lucia, Ryan for spending their Monday mornings with our cats. It’s never easy scooping a litter box or cleaning up after very messy cats, but the students did it with very little complaining. We also want to give a big shout out to their teacher, Mrs. Bookwalter who scooped p**p right along with her students.

We are helping a local business in Medford with a TNR trapping project. There are about 5 cats that need to be spayed and neutered and 3 kittens (3 cats have already been fixed).

The person reached out to help after cats started showing up at the business. He is taking care of them to the best of his ability, but knows they need to be fixed asap to prevent more kittens being born.

We’ve offered to help and if anyone would like to donate toward their spay/neuter surgeries it would be really appreciated! This person didn’t ask for this colony, but is caring for them out of the kindness of his heart. He’s seriously such a nice person and we want to try to ease the burden of the cost of their surgeries for him.

Each surgery costs $30 through the Friends of Burlington County Animal Shelter low cost TNR program. To sponsor a cat, click the PayPal link and put “Medford colony” in the description and we’ll be sure to send the money to this individual.

Thank you so much for your support! We hope to help more colonies in the area in the future!

This week we took in 3 sick cats. We are at capacity, but we could not turn these cats away. This is the heartbreaking reality of running a cat sanctuary. We are constantly faced with having to turn away some and making room for others. This is not for the faint of heart.

It’s hard. It’s exhausting. It makes us sad. We’re human. We’re tired. We have good days and bad days. But we show up to help these cats in need. We will do whatever we can to help the homeless cats in our area.

If you’d like to join our mission or donate to the cause, you can find more information on our website: www.carnsfureverfarm.com. ❤️

We have great news! Kamo, our beautiful 10 year old girl who came to us after her owner passed away, has been adopted!

Kamo’s new mom saw her video on Facebook and fell in love. She has another male cat who is Kamo’s twin! Kamo is settling in well.

We want to thank her new mom for giving her a chance. Adopting an older cat, especially after their owner passed away, is a rewarding experience. We hope you have many happy and healthy years together!
