Another fantastic day for Excelsior Chapter!

Today we had an incredible turnout at Tap Esports in Philadelphia, where our members enjoyed an afternoon of gaming, laughter, and fellowship. It was especially great to welcome members from Jersey Shore Chapter and the Delaware Valley Rainbow Assembly. Events like these remind us that DeMolay is about far more than meetings. It’s about building friendships, strengthening leadership, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and helped make today such a success. We look forward to seeing everyone again at our next event!

Fatherhood is extremely important to the next generation of youth. DeMolay was founded in 1919 to give young men, especially those growing up without fathers, the guidance, brotherhood, and positive role models they needed.

This Father’s Day, we honor the fathers, guardians, mentors, and “Dad” Advisors who continue that mission by helping young men become better leaders and better men.

February is the month when every DeMolay Chapter must carry out the obligatory Patriot Day observance, a moment dedicated to honoring major patriotic events and those who helped build our nation.

Each Chapter should hold a special meeting traditionally led by the Standard Bearer, celebrating actions that reinforce our commitment to the Cardinal Virtue of Patriotism. 🛡️

Here are some activities that may be carried out:

➡Present a flag that has flown over the Capitol to a library, school, municipal or state government office, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, or Shrine.

➡Sponsor a patriotic oratory contest, with prizes, either exclusive to DeMolays or open to all youth.

➡Attend a fireworks display together as a Chapter.

➡Place flags at patriotic memorials or on veterans’ graves.

➡Pay tribute to living veterans.

➡Sell flags for display in front yards.

➡Invite a patriotic speaker to a Chapter event.

➡Contact the local veterans' club and find out how your Chapter can help.

➡Sponsor a member of the Armed Forces by sending letters, photos, or a care package.

Patriot Day is more than an obligation: it is an opportunity for every DeMolay to demonstrate, through action and purpose, love of country and respect for those who served. Prepare your Chapter. February is coming.
