Here are the rosters for Red Cedar 2026. Remember, the lake is off limits now until Saturday morning. You may use any landing the morning of the tourney, but must come straight to Waldo Carlson County Park for boat check in. Also, remember, no power loading at the park. First of all, we want to wish all the moms out there a very Happy Mothers Day. Hope you all had a great day today.

The CWBA kicked off our 2026 season on Long lake in Washburn county. Rain was falling when we arrived to start checking in boats, but the rain quit before we released the boats. We had a full field of 40 boats that took off from the Pioneer on Long Lake to kick things off. By mid morning, the clouds disappeared but the north winds kicked up giving the anglers a tough time finding a place to fish out of the wind. One team came in with a a beautiful bag of fish over 20 pounds to take first. Congrats Cory Krogman and Ryan Peterson. Here are the full results:

1st place-20.67 #’s Cory Krogman / Ryan Peterson

2nd-18.09 (5 fish!) Joe / Mario Capozzi

3rd-18.07 Brad / Ben Gorman

4th-16.29-Dalton Engstrom / David Anderson

CWBA Reminder:
Long Lake is Off-Limits Monday, May 4th at sunset. No one is to be on the water after that until Saturday, May 9th. You may use any landing on tourney day but remember, we are taking off from The Pioneer, so come straight to their docks. Please be there in plenty of time to get checked in(6:30 take-off). Weigh-in is at the Pioneer at 3:00 PM. Can’t wait to see everybody this coming season. Rosters will be posted soon.

Be sure to patronize Pioneer on Long this weekend while up pre-fishing. Be sure to tell them you’re fishing the CWBA tourney the following weekend and thank them for hosting.
