Great time yesterday - Spreading the word about our trail building efforts at the Rib Lake Wilderness Expo.

The woods are drying out and we are ready to start back up on the Jaycee Park Trail.

Our first trail work day will be this week - Wednesday Night!

Our first project, the Jaycee Park Mountain Bike Skills & Terrain Park broke ground this month. Several hours of volunteer labor took the trail from thick bushwhacking to something anyone can walk. We will be meeting weekly, 6pm at the trailhead, alternate weeks to our club meetings, for trail building sessions. We’ve got the tools, bring your work gloves and join us - no experience necessary. We’ll be scheduling events to help keep track of what’s going on week to week.

There’s the fun trail building & riding, and then there’s the behind the scenes work to make it happen. We currently meet on Wednesdays, alternating weeks, 6pm at Lake 11 Brewing for group meetings. Mission statement writing, marketing, project planning, fundraising, volunteer coordination, future visions - all are on the table for these meetings as we establish ourselves. Everyone is invited to join us and we’ll be posting events to help keep track of whats going on week to week.
