❤️ Taylor County — Look What We Can Accomplish Together! ❤️
At the Taylor County Food Pantry, we believe that when we can bring fresh, locally grown and raised food to our clients, everybody wins! Thanks to grant funding and the incredible generosity of our local community, we have been able to bring a little piece of our own backyard farms, orchards, and businesses right to our clients’ tables! 🧑‍🌾🌱
🥦 Fresh from We Grow LLC: Cabbage, carrots, lettuce, and broccoli.
🌽 Fresh from Nelson Berry Farm: Sweet corn picked to bring local flavor to our community.
🥩 Fresh from K & T Meat Processing: Delicious, fresh brats!
🍎 Fresh from Cherrybrook Orchard: Wonderful, freshly picked apples.
And the community’s generosity doesn’t stop there! We are incredibly grateful for these local contributions:
🐖 Mike and Angie Latsch — Locally raised pork, generously donated to help feed our neighbors.
🐄 Nicolet Bank — Ground beef purchased at the Taylor County Youth Livestock Auction.
🐑 Abby Bank — Sheep purchased at the Taylor County Youth Livestock Auction.
Also a big thank you to all individuals, family and community members who graciously donated so many wonderful items from their own gardens! We can not thank everyone enough for all the community support we have received in helping us help those in their time of need.
Every purchase made with grant funds and every locally donated product represents something special: local dollars supporting local producers, local businesses helping local families, and a community working together to make a difference. ❤️
We are proud to help connect the hard work of our local farmers and producers with the families we serve. From farm to pantry to table, this is what community looks like!

🍎❤️ FRESH FROM THE ORCHARD TO OUR TAYLOR COUNTY TABLES! ❤️🍎

Look what’s arrived at the Taylor County Food Pantry! 🍎 We were fortunate to bring in another wonderful supply of delicious Honeycrisp apples from Cherrybrook Orchard in Edgar, Wisconsin!

Pictured is Brooke Behling, who owns Cherrybrook Orchard with her husband, sharing the bounty of their orchard with our community! 🍎🌳

Thanks to a grant from Hunger Task Force, we can continue bringing fresh, locally sourced goodness straight from the orchard to the tables of our pantry families. These grants have been such a blessing, allowing us to offer fresh, nutritious foods while supporting local growers and strengthening our community!

From the orchard to our pantry, and from our pantry to your table — this is what community care is all about! 🥰

Just a note about the first part of October food share distributions:

📣 ATTENTION TAYLOR COUNTY FOOD PANTRY CLIENTS! 📣

It’s that time of year again! ❤️

Each October, the Taylor County Food Pantry is required to update our client records. This annual update will begin October 1st.

We want to let everyone know that during this process, you may experience longer-than-usual wait times when receiving your food share. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as our volunteers work to complete these updates while continuing to serve our community.

Please know that we are doing everything we can to make the process go as smoothly as possible. We appreciate each and every one of you! ❤️

🍎🍎 FRESH FROM A LOCAL ORCHARD TO YOUR TABLE! 🍎🍎

Taylor County, we have something sweet, fresh, and delicious waiting for you! ❤️

Thanks to a grant from the Hunger Task Force, the Taylor County Food Pantry was able to reach out to Cherrybrook Orchard in Edgar, Wisconsin, and bring in these beautiful Honeycrisp apples! 🍎

One of the things we love most is being able to offer our clients fresh, local produce whenever we can — and this is a perfect example of bringing the goodness of a local orchard right to our community's table. 🌱🍎

These Honeycrisps are sweet, crisp, and absolutely delicious! Perfect for eating right out of hand, or making a batch of apple crumble, homemade applesauce, or even apple butter. 😋🍎

🐷❤️ FROM OUR FARM COMMUNITY TO OUR COMMUNITY FAMILY ❤️🐷

The Taylor County Food Pantry would like to send a huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to Angie and Mike Latsch for their incredibly generous donation of locally raised pork!

What makes this donation so special is that Angie and Mike are not only giving—they are sharing the fruits of their own farm with families right here in our community who are in need. This is what community is all about. ❤️

We are so grateful for our local farmers and the many ways they continue to support their neighbors. Angie and Mike, we simply cannot thank you enough for this generous gift!

As our Taylor County Food Pantry family continues to grow, so does our need to keep our shelves stocked. If you would like to help your neighbors in need, any of the following items would be greatly appreciated! 💚

🥫 Canned beans
🥜 Peanut/nut butter
🍑 Canned fruit in 100% juice
🥕 Canned vegetables (low/no sodium)
🍲 Canned soup/stew (low sodium)
🐔 Canned tuna/chicken
🍚 Brown rice
🍝 Whole-grain pasta & pasta sauce
🥣 Low-sugar/whole-grain cereal
🍯 Honey
🥘 Chicken, beef or vegetable broth
🍽️ Skillet meals

Donations can be dropped off at the Taylor County Food Pantry during our normal pantry hours.

Every can, box, jar, and bag makes a difference. Thank you for helping us continue to nourish our neighbors and our community! ❤️

Good morning, Taylor County! ❤️ We have some fresh and delicious additions at the Taylor County Food Pantry!

Look what just arrived! 😍🍑 Fresh plums are here to join the beautiful broccoli and cabbage from We Grow LLC in Westboro! 🥦🥬

We’re excited to help round out your pantry share with fresh fruits and vegetables that you can bring home to your family. We’re working hard to make sure our clients have access to more fresh, healthy choices whenever we can. 💚
