Allegheny College Orchesis Dance Company Orchesis Dance Company is a student run organization that offers a wide variety of styles every year. All who audition are welcomed into the company.

Orchesis Dance Co., the largest organization on campus, is an entirely student-run dance company. At the beginning of each school year, Orchesis holds auditions for its annual fall show. No prior dance experience is necessary to audition for or participate in Orchesis. Members may be in as many as four pieces, and everyone who auditions is guaranteed a spot in at least one piece. Orchesis encompas

ses a wide variety of dance styles, including jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, ballroom, and musical theater. Orchesis is one of the most highly attended events on campus and is free and open to anyone who wishes to attend. Joining the Orchesis Dance Co. is the perfect way for students to either begin or continue their dance journey while at Allegheny.
