Not One More Northwest PA

Not One More Northwest PA Recovery Advocacy in Northwest Pennsylvania. They soon became a chapter of the Not One More organization, earning their 501(c)3 non-profit status in 2016.

Our story begins in 2015, when a group of disheartened mothers formed a support group for those affected by the opioid epidemic in Crawford County, Pennsylvania. They called their support group Hope for Healing Hearts, and met regularly to share experience, strength, and hope, and oftentimes their pain. They have since developed and supported a number of ongoing community-building projects, includ

ing Thankful Thursdays, Recovery Rocks 814. They have hosted several overdose memorial events and brought Black Balloon Day to Northwestern Pennsylvania. They have earned several grants for the distribution of Naloxone and Evizio, and provide vital recovery resources and support through their website https://nomnwpa.org. They are always eager to help the addict and their loved ones, and can always use more help behind the scenes! Reach out at anytime

A couple four hour shifts this winter could be the difference between life and death for someone in our community.

Absolutely the most rewarding volunteer opportunity in our community, all you have to do is sit with those our society doesn't choose to see.
