☀️ A quick Independence Day Parade update! 🇺🇸

With tomorrow's forecast calling for extreme heat, we've decided to shorten our parade route so everyone can celebrate safely while still enjoying the fun.

Join us Saturday, July 4 at 10:00 a.m. on Briar Hill Court!

We'll still have:
🇺🇸 The Pledge of Allegiance, led by our neighborhood Boy Scouts
🚲 Decorated bikes, scooters, wagons, and lots of red, white, and blue spirit
🍧 Popsicles and cold water
🎉 A short parade around Briar Hill Court instead of the full Ridge Drive loop

We hope this change makes it easier for families, young children, and our older neighbors to come out and celebrate together. Decorate your wheels (or yourselves!), bring your patriotic spirit, and join your neighbors as we celebrate America's 250th birthday.

We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow morning. Happy Independence Day! ❤️🤍💙

Hi neighbors! We're unable to get the firetruck this year, so we're looking for a couple of convertible and/or jeep owners to lead the parade and take up the rear in the parade. Mr Jeff, our wonderful mailman, asked that we encourage neighbors to put ant traps in our mailboxes. He's seeing a lot of ants and ant hills in and around mailboxes. He cautions you to lookout for ants on your mail! 🐜

America's 250th - 🇺🇸 🎆 Volunteers Need to Lead Langley Oaks Annual July 4th Celebration Planning

This year’s celebration will be extra special as we mark America’s 250th birthday, and we’re looking for a few neighbors to help make it memorable for the entire community.

We are seeking volunteers to take on light leadership roles in planning key parts of the event—everything from coordinating kids’ activities and decorations to helping organize food, music, and logistics. No prior experience needed—just a willingness to pitch in and bring great energy.

This is a fun, low-lift way to meet neighbors, build community spirit, and help shape one of Langley Oaks’ most beloved traditions—especially in such a milestone year.

Dear Neighbors, the Langley High School 7th annual Bands on the Run 5K is this Sunday, April 26th, 8-9:30am. There will be cones and course monitors throughout the route which includes our neighborhood.
