McHenry VFW Post 4600 Auxiliary We meet every 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7pm at the VFW McHenry, Illinois Post 4600 Auxiliary is active, healthy and strong with 130 members.

We meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the McHenry VFW. Our goals and priorities are aligned with the VFW on a national level, additionally we pay special attention to the veterans right here in our community!

This "SALUTING AMERICA" blanket was crocheted by one of our own Auxiliary members out of her deep love of country and gratitude for the freedoms our Veterans have fought for.
Please don't miss the opportunity to make this beautiful creation your own.

Raffle tickets, at $10 each, will be available at the McHenry VFW Post 4600 every Tuesday from 11-7 beginning March 31st and ending with the drawing of the raffle ticket taking place on the 4th of July at the Post's celebration of our country's 250th birthday.

This weekend the McHenry VFW Auxiliary held our biennial Membership Appreciation Luncheon. Along with good food and fellowship, we celebrated the dedication and amazing efforts of our members in our support of Veterans, we celebrated anniversaries by presenting members with their longevity pins, and recognized members for their successful recruitment efforts. Thank you Commander Mike Kinnerk and Department President Diane Ahrens for celebrating with us.

Today McHenry VFW Auxiliary joined with the McHenry community in honoring our fallen Veterans.

The names of those who have lost their lives after serving in the Armed Forces were placed on hand made stars. During the Month of May these stars were displayed on a tree at the McHenry VFW Post.

This Memorial Star tree was then transported to Veterans Park for the Memorial Day Observance hosted by the Combined Veterans Organizations ofcMcHenry.

Have a safe and blessed Memorial Day and never forget the sacrifices of our fallen Veterans.
