08/31/2026 - HWY 84 UPDATE

I spoke with the County Commissioners for McLennan County, They said our first step is TXDOT, So I have reached out to the Engineer and forwarded all of my documents to the parties that needs to be involved. The next step (For Them) is to complete a traffic study on both lanes (East & West Hwy 84) and the entry and exit to Oak Meadow Trl. They will keep me updated on the progress. FINAL PETITION

For the requested left turn lane off hey 84 west into our neighborhood, deceleration lane and acceleration lanes.
I am going to submit these documents to the responsible agencies and get on their agendas for in person meetings, I will post the dates as I get them so you can attend the meetings too. The more the better!

SAFE TURN AROUND UPDATE: as of 08/28/2026 we have 115 signatures on the petition! Doing great but our goal is 300 names if possible! Anyone in your household that drives a vehicle can sign. Please come by 119 oak meadow trl to sign the forms are on the porch until dark each day. Thank you for your help!
