MEET THE BOARD:

I am Mary Cantu, the McGregor PTA Secretary for '26-27. This will be my 3rd year as a PTA member. I am also going on my 15th year as a Physical Therapist specializing in dizziness and concussions.

I have 2 amazing kids in McGregor Elementary School. Together as a family, we love playing board games, playing with our dogs, making music, jumping on the trampoline, and watching our wacky chickens.

My favorite part of the PTA is the fall festival. I really enjoy all the families and teachers getting together. Added bonus is jamming to Halloween music at the cake walk.

MEET THE BOARD:

I am Katie Costner, and I will be serving our PTA for the ‘26-‘27 school year as the Event Chair. I am blessed to be a mom to Jack, Emma, Jensen, and Jared alongside my husband, John.

When I am not busy with my PTA volunteering, I work for MISD as a substitute teacher and a volunteer in the school when and where I am needed. When I’m not serving at the schools, we stay busy with church, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, dance, soccer, basketball, and whatever our kids are interested in trying!

As a founding member, I am so excited to grow our programming alongside our amazing Executive Board and to get to know new members as they are able and willing to step in and help us in creating a fun, loving, and wholesome environment within our Primary and Elementary campuses.

MEET THE BOARD:

Hi, I'm Stephanie Mangus. After serving as the PTA President for the last two years, I'm moving into the PTA Communications Chair role. I'm hoping to bring you more frequent updates about opportunities to get involved and support our kiddos.

In addition to momming Finnegan and Juliette, I am an Associate Professor of Marketing at Baylor, a lovely (if I do say so myself) wife to Jesse 😂, and a member of Harris Creek Baptist Church, where I serve in the Kids' Ministry.

In my free time, you'll find me baking or chasing my kids to/from basketball, dance, 4-H, and more. I travel every chance I get and am on track to visit 7 countries in the 2026-2027 academic year!

As a founding member of the PTA, I'm excited to watch the group grow and continue to serve students, families, and teachers in the district. One of the biggest blessings of the PTA is meeting more families and making lifelong friends.

Do you want to support your kids' school but just cannot do another fundraiser right now? Great -- go out to dinner instead.

On September 21st, stop at Panda Express in Waco, show them this flyer, and the PTA gets 20% of your purchase.

Dinner is "made." The family is happy. You aren't tired from cooking. And, you supported your kids' school.

MEET THE BOARD:

Hi, I'm Analine Salas, and I have the privilege of serving as your PTA Treasurer. This is my third year in this role, and it continues to be an honor to support our amazing school community. It is exciting to watch our PTA grow, reach our goals, and make a positive impact on our school.

In addition to my role here, I'm a full-time professional bookkeeper and a proud mom of four wonderful boys. When I'm not balancing books, you'll usually find me cheering from the sidelines at my kids' soccer games, enjoying a good book, or unwinding with Netflix. ⚽📚🍿

I am incredibly grateful to serve alongside such dedicated moms and professionals who truly care about making a difference for our students, teachers, and families. Thank you for your continued support—it truly makes everything we do possible.

I'm looking forward to another amazing year serving our school community! ❤️🐾

MEET THE BOARD:

I am Kaitlyn Fisk, and I am so excited to serve as Pups PTA Vice President at the Primary campus! My husband Peyton, and I are proud McGregor Alumnus. We are thrilled to raise our girls, Elaina and Evelynn, in our hometown.

When I’m not volunteering with the PTA, you can find me at church, where I am the Mother’s Day Out Director, the dance studio, or at gymnastics!

Over the last year, the Pups PTA has given more than $20,000 back to the students and staff of McGregor Elementary and Primary! This year, we are planning even more events to serve students and families. I am proud that our girls are fourth-generation Bulldogs and honored to serve in an organization that serves and supports them, their peers, and the teachers/staff of McGregor ISD!

MEET THE BOARD!

Hi - I am Bethany Meeks. My husband, Corey, and I have 3 great boys; one in Jr High, one in 3rd grade, and one toddler. I am the PTA VP of elementary this year and have served as secretary in previous years. I am excited for this year and all the fun initiatives and activities the PTA has planned for our teachers and students!

Outside of PTA, I am the Office Administrator for College Avenue Baptist Church and enjoy spending my time ministering to others in whatever way I can. If not at church, you can easily find us at the soccer fields, basketball games, working on home improvement projects, participating in Scouts, going hiking or camping, or spending time with family.

Looking forward to all the great things to come this year!
