New York City Council voted to pass Romanch’s Law, which will officially phase out horse carriages by 2028! PETA also announced we will donate $50,000 to the horses' retirement 🫶

I Think I Love You Animal Foundation is holding a fundraiser to help Lance with his medical bills. SEE Lance in the comments.

Lance is a privately owned therapy horse for Warrior’s Soul, an equine healing and learning center helping people navigate trauma and stress. Lance helps people feel safe. He meets them with a quiet presence, and he has become an important contributor at Warrior's Soul.

Lance has been diagnosed with EPM, a serious neurological disease. His best chance for recovery requires 90 days of medication and supplements, along with veterinary monitoring, bodywork, and rehabilitation. While his owner is caring for her parents, she cannot cover the full cost of his treatment alone.

Donations will help cover:
* Medication and supplements: $4,200
* Bodywork and rehabilitation: $1,500
* Veterinary rechecks and testing: $600
* Unexpected follow-up care: $500

Any donation or share will help give Lance the care he needs and support his recovery. Nearly $4000 more is needed for Lance’s treatment. You can donate to Lance here and put “Lance” in the notation.

We are sorry to hear the news of Rick’s passing. Dixieland Squall’s forever home is Old Friend’s and Rick was amazing to work with. May he rest in peace.

Today marks 8 years since we lost David Cassidy. His love for horses and animals was tremendous. We carry on his spirit of love, compassion and care for animals in his memory. RIP David.
