Our next Joel Lind Rising Star Award Nominee is Mason Community Players' Max Collins-Posa.

"Max first participated in MCP as a cast member of Schoolhouse Rock Live! For the very next production, he was cast in a significant role as Detective Trotter in The Mousetrap, and helped with set construction on that show. He followed that up by being a member of the stage crew for The Cemetery Club. He was on the set construction crew and did lighting ex*****on for Blithe Spirit. He was on the team of members who were crew for the excerpt of The Cemetery Club, and was one of only two people who returned to the Playhouse with the truck full of set pieces and unloaded and stored the contents. He helped with both set construction and set décor for The Pirates of Penzance and was also a member of the cast. He was a member of stage crew for The Haunting of Hill House. And, finally Max did sound ex*****on for Welcome to Our Home for Christmas. Seven productions since his arrival in the fall of 2025 and he supported every one of them. MCP is proud to nominate Max Collins-Posa as a great example of a Rising Star!"
