It’s official—the results are in! 🧦

After a month-long sock-collecting competition through MYF, our 2nd graders came out on top, collecting an incredible 1,219 pairs for Shoes 4 the Shoeless

4th Grade Green came in second with an amazing 900 pairs!

Together, MYF collected 2,500 pairs of socks to donate to an organization that provides socks to those in need.

Thank you to everyone who donated, participated, and helped make this such a great success!

One week left in our sock collection!

We’re hearing some numbers from a few teams, and some of these totals might be hard to beat! Which team will come out on top and win the pizza party or Chill Out Truck?!

Shoes 4 the Shoeless has a goal to receive 100,000 pairs of socks for the month of October- let’s show them how the Mason Youth Football Community shows up!

Also, Amazon is a great place to find socks in bulk, but you don’t have to buy a huge pack—a simple 6-pack is welcome too! Every pair counts!

Let’s see who finishes strong!

“4th Grade Mason has been a PROBLEM this year! I told everybody the Revenge Tour was coming… and they have been a problem!” 🔥

Shoutout to our little Mason Comet, Kingston Johnson Spikes, from the 4th Grade Green Team! Kingston landed in the Top 4 Plays from Week 4, tearing up the field like he owns it!

Way to go, Kingston! Keep making plays!

🏈🧦 MYF is PAIRING IT FORWARD this September! 🧦🏈

This September, all of our Mason Youth Football teams are coming together for a community service project benefiting Shoes 4 the Shoeless, an organization that provides properly fitting shoes and socks to kids in need throughout the Cincinnati area.

We’re asking our MYF families to help us collect new socks (all colors, styles, and youth sizes) for kids in our community. It’s a simple way for our players to give back to kids their own age—and a great reminder of how fortunate we are to have the equipment and resources that allow our boys to play the sports they love.

The team that collects the MOST pairs of socks by the end of September wins their choice of a TEAM PIZZA PARTY or the CHILL OUT TRUCK complements of MYF!

Turn in socks to your coach or team mom!

Shout out to the 6th grade team, they had a team bonding and serve opportunity today as they volunteered at a food pantry at Bethany Methodist church! This is what football looks like when the team becomes like family . . . we serve, we teach, we build character.

Week 2! We hosted Kings today for an historic rivalry filled with great games, tough competition and great sportsmanship. Proud of our Comets!
