Our August Garden Dinner was a wonderful evening of delicious food and incredible community support. A special thanks to Chris Thompson, owner and executive chef Amici for preparing an outstanding Asian Infused dinner.
We were able to sponsor 20 raised garden beds all thanks to our incredible dinner attendees. We can’t thank you all enough for supporting Special Growers and helping us to create opportunities for our staff.

We have one final garden dinner on September 20 to close out our season. Tickets are still available on our website and link in bio. 🪴

Through her incredible generosity and the Dollywood Foundation, Dolly has quietly anchored the very organizations that support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our own backyard and nation wide. From keeping care facilities open during tough times to championing inclusive employment and healthcare, her philanthropy ensures that every individual can live with dignity, joy, and independence.
We are endlessly grateful for Dolly’s grace, her heart, and her unwavering dedication to lifting up those who need it most. Rest in peace Dolly, We Will Always Love You. 🦋

Fall Garden Dinner: Celebrating Our Educators - September 20

Join us for a special Fall Garden Dinner as we celebrate the educators who help make opportunity possible for students at Special Growers.

Enjoy a four-course, garden-inspired dinner prepared by Joseph Blauvelt, Head of the Culinary Arts Department at Pellissippi State Community College, while surrounded by the beauty of the Special Growers garden.

This evening is our opportunity to recognize the incredible contributions of our local high schools, teachers, and staff who partner with Special Growers to provide meaningful work experiences, skills development, and opportunities for students with disabilities.

Come enjoy an evening of great food and fellowship! Lets celebrate the educators who are helping our students grow.
