Looking for a way to give back to your community and also make a ton of amazing new friends while doing it?
JSL is looking for women to join our organization. We've put together some quick facts so you can see what we're all about. If you're interested in applying, we've included a google link where you can submit your application!

Event update*****

Due to weather causing unsafe road/parking lot conditions, the JSL new member meet and greet is being rescheduled for 1 week later.
The new date is Monday 2/2, same time and place. The event has been updated, so please follow the event for additional details!

We have lots of updates, as our elves..I mean volunteers..have been very busy!!!!

Toys for Blount County 2025 was a huge success! We wrapped up sorting and packing last Saturday through Monday. Today, all of the toy boxes along with food boxes from The Empty Pantry Fund were delivered all throughout our community. JSL was able to serve almost 1300 amazing kids this Christmas. This would not be possible without all of our volunteers along with our wonderful community. It takes a HUGE effort to make all of this come together every year!

Our toy drive at the Ice Bears Hockey game was also a big win!! Here are some photos from the toy drive, as well as the toys our volunteer collected from both Alcoa Middle School and Heritage Middle School. Thank you so much to the Ice Bears and the schools!!

Our annual Breakfast with Santa event was also a huge undertaking for our volunteers and they pulled it off beautifully!!

Now, we have the chance to slow down (hopefully) and spend some time with family and friends and remember what Christmas is all about!

We have been blessed beyond measure this year with toy drives! Our community showed up and showed out! This last week we have been busy finishing up the toy collections and then sorting and packing all the toys (more on that later!)

BIG Thank you to the donations we received yesterday!
We couldn't do it without you, Eagleton College & Career Academy , Green Meadow Country Club , Alcoa TN FCU in Vonore, and John Sevier Elementary !!!!

We also received an awesome donation of DIAPERS from Kimberly-Clark. These diapers will go into the toy boxes we prepare for the babies ages 0-2.5.

Mark your calendars for another fun filled event!
Our very own Ice Bears will be having a fund-raising event for us on December 19th! More info to come on purchasing tickets and how to make sure JSL gets the credit, but we wanted to go ahead and let everyone know the date! This event should be a lot of fun!

We would like to give some recognition for some of the toy donations we've received, as our members start collecting those from various schools and businesses around town! These will continue to be collected this week.

First up....
We received this car full of toys and a whopping $500 from DENSO! Denso, thank you thank you! This is wonderful!

We also received a full box of toys from the Lowe's Ferry neighborhood in Louisville!!!

In addition, we received some toys and a $200 donation from Prisma Hospice staff!
We also received some toys from the ladies at Power Fit gym :)

This is such a community wide effort and it's amazing to see all the places and people that want to help in our mission!!
