Cook Family Charitable Fund

The Cook family started The Jordyn Cook Epilepsy Fund in 2006. She just hadn’t found a partner to fund the site.

We assist families and individuals dealing with cancer, addiction, and intellectual disabilities by providing them with financial support and access to resources to overcome obstacles and lead fulfilling lives. The decision to raise money for Epilepsy came from a deep desire to have resources available so that the community could learn in minutes what took the Cook’s six years. Jordyn’s inspiring

Epileptologist, neurologist, Elizabeth Thiele of Mass General Hospital was already beginning an educational website in partnership with WGBH, “Growing up with Epilepsy”. It was the Jordyn Cook Epilepsy Fund’s first pledge; $350,000 which was to be the sole funding source of the site. The Growing up with Epilepsy site went live in 2006. Having recognized other needs, The Jordyn Cook Epilepsy Fund became The Cook Family Charitable Fund on January 1, 2016.

September 21st will be here before we know it, and we’re getting excited for another great day at Indian Pond Country Club.

There's more to our Annual Golf Tournament than just golf! ⛳💙

Every year, one of the most fun parts of the day is our raffle and live auction. There are always some great items and experiences up for grabs, and the live auction has become a favorite part of the tournament.

We also have a silent auction, giving everyone even more chances to take home something special while supporting the Cook Family Charitable Fund.

It's a great day of golf, food, friends, a little friendly competition, and lots of fun - all for a great cause.

We're looking forward to doing it all again at our 15th Annual Golf Tournament on September 21st!

You know it's August in Marshfield when... 🎡

The Marshfield Fair is right around the corner!

There's just something about the fair that feels like summer in Massachusetts .... the rides, the food, the games, the animals, and of course, running into people you haven't seen in a while.

The fair runs August 21–30, so there's still plenty of summer left to enjoy.

Did you know August is National Family Fun Month? ☀️

Summer always seems to fly by, so August is a great reminder to slow down and spend a little extra time with the people who matter most.

Plan a trip to the beach, an evening walk, an ice cream stop, a backyard cookout, or simply enjoy a meal together. These are often the little moments that become the best memories.

Looking for something fun to do with the family this weekend? 🎬🌙

Starland Sportsplex in Hanover is hosting an Outdoor Movie Night this Saturday, July 11th.

Bring a blanket or beach chair, grab a spot under the stars, and enjoy a summer movie night with the family. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the movie begins around 8:00 PM at sunset.

It's always nice to see family-friendly events happening here on the South Shore. If you're planning to go, we hope you have a great time! 💙
