New this year...automatically enter into our raffle with pre-purchase of wristbands! MCRCO is a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization. The 15th Annual Marshfield Community Rib Cook-Off is planned for September 9, 2023. Proceeds from the event support the team's mission to raise funds and awareness in support of critical community initiatives serving at-risk youth and their families with a focus on economic hardship, homelessness, and food insecurity. In 2022 the committee designated $40,000 to worthy charitable organizations. The concept originated during a 2009 North Community Church mission trip to Biloxi, Mississippi that included a visit to the iconic BBQ joint “The Shed” inspiring event founders to turn their passion for BBQ into a Marshfield, MA community amateur competition. MCRCO supports local organizations including the Marshfield Food Pantry, Marshfield FACTS, McKinney Vento Foster Care, and The North Community Church missions.

The grills are getting fired up, the stage is set and the Marshfield Fairgrounds is about to come alive with ribs, family fun and live music from Despite Dwight, the Jody Moore Band and Cindy Lou & Three Fine Fellas.
