There’s something truly special growing at the Pleasant Street Garden this season.

Not only are the vegetables thriving, but so are the incredible residents, CBDS participants, and individuals who help care for them each day. From watering and weeding to planting and harvesting, this garden has become so much more than a place to grow food — it’s a place where friendships grow, skills develop, confidence blossoms, and everyone takes pride in being part of something meaningful.

The dedication, teamwork, and joy that go into caring for this garden are reflected in every flower, vine, and vegetable. We are so proud of the hard work and commitment shown by everyone involved.

A beautiful reminder that when people are given the opportunity to grow, amazing things happen.

What a Night to Remember!

Thrive Support & Advocacy’s 5th Annual A Prom For All Ages™ was truly a royal celebration!

On Thursday evening, hundreds of individuals, families, caregivers, staff, sponsors, and community supporters gathered at beautiful Polar Park for a magical night where everyone was treated like the kings and queens they are.

From the moment our guests stepped onto the red carpet, they were welcomed with cheers, smiles, crowns and tiaras, elegant décor, delicious food, music, dancing, and countless moments of joy. The evening was a celebration of inclusion, friendship, and the incredible abilities of every person we serve.

This event is much more than a prom; it is a reminder that everyone deserves the opportunity to feel special, celebrated, and part of a community that sees their strengths and limitless potential.

A heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers, staff, and community partners who made this unforgettable evening possible. A big shout out to WMCT- TV, Marlborough Community Television for covering the event on the Red Carpet and Main Street Bank, our Presenting Sponsor. Your support helps create meaningful experiences and lifelong memories for the individuals and families we are honored to serve.

To all of our kings and queens of the ball: Thank you for bringing your energy, smiles, and sparkle to the dance floor. You made the night extraordinary!

Gratitude like this deserves to be shared.

A heartfelt thank you to Main Street Bank for their incredibly generous $5,000 donation to Bosco’s Bites. This kind of support goes far beyond dollars. It helps fuel our mission, expand our reach, and continue making a real difference in the lives of those we serve.

Community partnerships like this remind us what’s possible when people and organizations come together with purpose. We’re deeply appreciative of Main St. Bank’s commitment to giving back and believing in the work we do every day.

Thank you for standing with us and helping Bosco’s Bites grow. 💛

We’re proud to support Thrive Support & Advocacy with a $5,000 grant from the Main Street Group Foundation to help launch Bosco’s Bites, an innovative workforce development and entrepreneurship program designed exclusively for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Bosco’s Bites provides hands-on training in food production, customer service, and financial literacy, empowering participants to gain real-world experience by preparing and selling healthy dog treats. The program builds confidence, independence, and meaningful pathways to employment while strengthening our local economy.

We’re honored to support programs that promote inclusion, workforce opportunity, and our community—one bite at a time.🐾💙

There’s nothing better than rolling up our sleeves together.

This week, Thrive’s Senior Leadership Team spent time outside doing a full yard cleanup and getting our greenhouse ready for the summer season. This space will soon be filled with fresh fruits and vegetables grown by and for the individuals we support, creating opportunities for connection, learning, and wellness.

We are incredibly grateful to The First Parish in Lincoln for awarding Thrive the Jean Preston Grant. Because of their generosity, we’re able to grow fresh, healthy food not only for our residents to enjoy, but also to share with our community through the Flourish Food Pantry.

This is what community looks like.
