This is what it's all about.

At Affordable Housing Corporation, one of the things that drives us every day is seeing our community show up for one another. The support we've received for our Community Cupboard has been incredible, and we simply want to say: Thank You, Grant County! 🥰

Because of your generosity, families, children, and neighbors right here in our community have access to food and essential items when they need them most. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference.

A special shoutout to Grant County Kindness for donating four boxes of food yesterday! Those donations went directly back into the community and helped feed more than a dozen local kids. 💙

If you're not familiar with the Community Cupboard, it's located at 812 S. Washington Street and is available to everyone. Our philosophy is simple:

🤝 Leave what you can.

No questions. No barriers. Just neighbors helping neighbors.

We couldn't do this alone, and we are so incredibly grateful for every person who has donated, shared, volunteered, or helped spread the word. Your kindness is making a real impact.

Good news: the lettuce is officially ready to harvest! 🥬✨

Come pick yourself a fresh, homegrown salad and enjoy the fruits (and vegetables 😉) of our community’s hard work. Please stay within the 3 boxes marked with The Hub’s logo.

While you’re here, we’d love an extra set of hands. Whether you have 5 minutes or an hour, there’s always something to do—pull a few w**ds, water a bed, or simply enjoy the space with us.

🎉 Introducing The Community Cupboard! 🎉

AHC is excited to announce the opening of The Community Cupboard, located at 812 S. Washington St., Marion, Indiana!

The Community Cupboard was created with one goal in mind: helping our neighbors and strengthening our community. Anyone who is in need is welcome to utilize the pantry, and anyone who would like to give back is encouraged to donate.

This project would not have been possible without the incredible support of so many people:

A special thank you to Texas Roadhouse for hosting a donation night that helped raise $400 toward this project.

Thank you to Fred from our Maintenance Department for supplying materials and building the pantry.

Thank you to our entire Maintenance Team for helping with the finishing touches and setting up the pantry.

Thank you to our AHC staff members for their generous donations to help fill the pantry and for contributing toward the building costs.

The Community Cupboard is a true example of what can happen when people come together to support one another. We are proud to provide this resource to the Marion community and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have.

We were happy to sponsor a 10u baseball team and a sponsor a banner for the 8u ball field for the Oak Hill Community Youth League!!!
