One of the things I appreciate about this country is that we have the freedom to form our own opinions. We can believe differently, live differently, and still care deeply about the same community.

I would never want somebody to vote a certain way just because I told them to. That decision belongs to you.

Tomorrow is Election Day, and I encourage everybody to get out and vote. But please, go informed. Read about the candidates. Look at their actions, their plans, and what they stand for. If those things line up with your values and the future you want for your family and your community, let that guide you.

George Washington warned us about the dangers of letting loyalty to political parties divide us. All these years later, that’s still something worth thinking about.

This country is full of people with different backgrounds, beliefs, and stories. My own family came here just a few generations ago. That means something to me. There’s room here for people whose lives look different from ours, and there should be room for their voices in our government, too.

Some of the best things we can accomplish start with people who don’t see eye to eye being willing to sit down and listen. We don’t have to agree on everything to care about each other or build something better for the people coming after us.

So do your research. Vote with thought and purpose. And remember that when the election is over, we’re still neighbors. We still share this town, and how we treat each other matters.

We’ll be open tomorrow to keep you fueled and fed. Whatever your ballot looks like, there’s a place for you at our table. 🌮
