A big THANK YOU to one of our nonprofit partners - the “LCARC” (Lake Crystal Area Recreation Center) - for helping keep the Lake Crystal area community connected and informed by hosting a Greater Mankato Area United Way campaign thermometer on their property!

Working toward our $2.5 million campaign goal for 2027, every gift helps move the thermometer, and our community, forward. It will take all of us, together, to make a difference across our four-county region!

Congratulations to Greater Mankato Area United Way's YOUTH UNITED committee member - Ava R. on her recent acceptance into the Greater Mankato CEO program, known for "POWERING ON THE ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT."

The Greater Mankato CEO program is an initiative of Transforming Tomorrow Together: Southern MN 2040.

RALLY SEASON! Greater Mankato Area United Way had the opportunity to join the LCWM (Lake Crystal Welcome Memorial) Schools all-staff meetings for 2 employee campaign rallies!

It was a great morning connecting with staff and sharing about the impact of Greater Mankato Area United Way’s nonprofit partner agencies, programs, and initiatives that are making a difference throughout the four-county region we serve, including the residents, students, and families of Lake Crystal.

Special thanks to principals Dan and Mike for allowing us to have the floor - and adding us to the already full back to school agendas.

A huge thank you to Mark and Kaitlynn with Brennan Companies once again for helping us remove from storage and install one of our United Way campaign thermometer banner signs on the west side of Mankato, along Riverfront Drive and Stoltzman Road, near West High School!

The banner is now all updated for the 2027 campaign with our goal to raise $2.5M to support 75 programs and initiatives!

The Brennan team is so generous with their time and we are grateful for their willingness to lend a hand. These signs allow us to share our campaign progress with the community and inspire others to invest in our four-county region. We are grateful for your partnership and commitment to making a difference.
