🥩 MONTHLY MEAT RAFFLES ARE BACK! 🎟️

Next Friday, Wrestling Brotherhood | Sisterhood is kicking off our monthly meat raffles again at Morson-Ario-Strand VFW Post 950!

These raffles are a simple (and fun!) way to help support our club, and we’re looking for a few volunteers to help us get things rolling!

Volunteers are needed to:
• Sell raffle tickets
• Help get each round ready
• Keep things moving throughout the raffle
No experience needed. We’ll show you what to do!

Our meat raffles will continue on the first Friday of each month, so there will be plenty of opportunities for families, supporters, and friends of the club to get involved.

🚨 INTRODUCING MAVERICK MONDAYS! 🤘🤼

We’re excited to bring something NEW this fall, Maverick Mondays!

Beginning in October, members of the Minnesota State University, Mankato wrestling team will be joining us every Monday at the Schwickert’s Tecta America Wrestling Center!

Each week, two Maverick wrestlers will step into our room to coach, share technique, and work directly with our athletes.

But Maverick Mondays are about so much more than wrestling.

Our kiddos get the opportunity to build real connections with these amazing student-athletes, learning from them, getting to know them, and having college wrestlers right here in their community to look up to.

And that connection goes both ways.

We hope our wrestlers and families will become some of the Mavericks’ biggest supporters, recognizing the athletes who coached them on Mondays and then getting the chance to cheer them on when they step onto the mat for Minnesota State. 🤘💜💛

It’s mentorship. It’s community. And it’s another way we can help connect the next generation of wrestlers with the sport they love.

COACHING OPPORTUNITY‼️

We are looking to add coaches to our team!

We’re a year-round nonprofit wrestling club working with boys and girls from communities across southern Minnesota, and as we continue to grow, we need more people in the room helping our wrestlers.

We’re looking for individuals with wrestling and/or coaching experience who are interested in giving back to the sport and helping develop the next generation of wrestlers.

We understand that current high school coaches may have restrictions through the MSHSL, so you do not need to be a current coach to reach out. Former wrestlers, former coaches, college wrestlers, and others with wrestling experience are encouraged to apply.

If you’re interested, please fill out our Coaching Interest Form. Applications will be reviewed by our board, and selected applicants will be invited to a Coaches Interest Meeting.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR COACHES!

As we head into the upcoming school year, we’re looking to add coaches to the Wrestling Brotherhood & Sisterhood team!

We’re looking for individuals with wrestling and/or coaching experience who want to work with young athletes and help continue growing wrestling in southern Minnesota.

What we’re looking for:
• Wrestling and/or coaching experience
• Ability to work with youth and high school athletes
• Dependable and willing to work as part of a coaching team
• Focused on helping athletes grow both on and off the mat
• Willing to complete required USA Wrestling coaching requirements and certifications

Applications will be reviewed by the Wrestling Brotherhood Board, and selected applicants will be invited to a Coaches Interest Meeting to learn more about the program and discuss coaching opportunities.

All wrestlers MUST renew their membership to participate in practice. Current USA Wrestling memberships expire August 31st.

USA Wrestling Membership for the 2026-27 season is now available for purchase.

Purchase or renew all your membership options: Athlete, Wrestling Leader, Event Sanctions, and Club Charters.

➡️ Don't forget about our Team Memberships for just $525. If you team is signing up for that, individual families with wrestlers in 9th - 12th grade will not need to purchase their athlete membership individually.
