Big night at the Lake Crystal Lions Club! Congratulations to Lion Glen Wiens for 50 years of service! The Greater Mankato Area United Way presented on all the ways they are serving our community with books of poetry, love of reading, and other valued services. $1,000 was donated to support the United Way.

Thanks to Mike Roll, President of Crystal Waters Project for speaking at this month’s meeting. CWP partnered with the City of Lake Crystal, Blue Earth County Drainage Authority, and Blue Earth SWCD for a water storage project along CD 56 that will allow sediment and nutrients to settle before water flows to Crystal Lake. Mike was recognized for his 14 years of volunteer service to CWP and our community. This storage project is the culmination of his work and a willing landowner! Also pictured is Lion Curt Anderson.

Tourney week! 11 games, 99 volunteer shifts filled! Over 7 days, the Lake Crystal Lions Club will have ushered at MSU for Minnesota high school boys section finals and the 2026 NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament. Last two games are Monday! Thanks to all the volunteers who have filled shifts! All money raised goes to fund scholarships and other important local, regional, and national organizations!
