Employee Spotlight: Celebrating Alicia Sprenkle!

As we enter this season of thankfulness, we’re recognizing someone we’re especially grateful for!

For the past three years, Alicia has faithfully served as our Residential Coordinator at Home on Ferdinand. With compassion and a heart for ministry, she walks alongside our residents, advocating for their needs, lifting them up in prayer, and helping them build the skills needed for greater stability and new beginnings.

We are thankful for Alicia’s dedication and the difference she makes in the lives of the women we serve!

As she prepares to welcome her second little one and begin maternity leave in January, we’re excited for this next chapter in her life!

Join us in celebrating Alicia by leaving a word of encouragement or appreciation in the comments below!

Happy Wednesday, neighbors!

Community grows in everyday moments—learning someone’s name, sharing a conversation, and making room for one another.

Here’s a little midweek encouragement: you don’t have to do something big to remind someone that they matter. A small act of kindness can help someone feel seen, valued, and appreciated.

Are you or someone you know ready to put your faith into action?

A new season is unfolding at Manheim Community Life Group! Fresh vision. New opportunities. The same commitment to serving our community with the love of Christ.

As we step into this next chapter, we’re growing our team and inviting those who feel called to be part of what God is doing.

We’re seeking individuals with a passion for ministry and serving those experiencing homelessness with humility, integrity, and compassion.

Homelessness isn’t just a statistic. It affects people and families in our community—and at Manheim Community Life Group, we’re here to make a difference.

Through Home on Ferdinand, we provide more than a place to stay. We offer women and their children a place to find stability, renewed hope, and the opportunity for a new beginning.

The countywide numbers tell part of the story. Our purpose is personal—and rooted in relationships. We don’t simply provide housing; we take time to build trust, get to know each woman and her children, and walk alongside them as they take their next steps forward. That relational approach is at the heart of who we are.

Hope - Stability - New life

Around this table at Home on Ferdinand, we come together to share meals and have meaningful conversation.

This beautiful handcrafted table was donated to us, and we are so thankful for the care and craftsmanship poured into it. Thank you for making our house feel even more like home. ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to the girls from Manheim Central High School who came to our home ready to work for Going Beyond Day! They cleaned, organized, and decluttered—and accomplished so much in a short time. It hardly looks like the same house!

The women and children who call this home truly appreciate the difference you made.

An extra-special thank-you to our project managers, Joette Peters and Robin Gorini, who put in so much work before, during, and after the event—from preparing workstations and guiding the girls to staying afterward for even more organizing and decluttering. Your dedication made this day possible, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped! ❤️
