Applications are NOW OPEN for the 2026 Swing Hard for Soldiers Scholarship Program!

The Kelly Gibson Foundation, in partnership with the Oscar J. Tolmas Charitable Trust, is proud to provide scholarship opportunities to the children and grandchildren of those who have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.

Eligible applicants include high school juniors through 5th-year college students as of Fall 2026 who are 22 or younger, have at least a 2.0 GPA and reside in one of the eligible Louisiana parishes or Mississippi counties.

Scholarship applications are evaluated based on academics, community involvement, financial need and essay responses.

Applications are officially open for the 2026 Allstate Sugar Bowl Tommy Moore Memorial, taking place December 22–23 at TPC Louisiana, home of the PGA TOUR’s Zurich Classic!

The annual 36-hole championship will bring together 84 top-ranked junior golfers from across the country for two days of competition at one of Louisiana’s premier golf courses.

We are excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 KGF Community Heroes Program! 🇺🇸🏈

This program honors our local military personnel, law enforcement, first responders, and healthcare professionals by awarding selected heroes three tickets to a New Orleans Saints regular-season home game.

Since the program began in 2016, we’ve had the privilege of recognizing incredible individuals who dedicate themselves to serving our community. We look forward to continuing that tradition during the 2026–2027 season!

We are extremely excited to welcome Aidan McLachlan on as the newest member of the Kelly Gibson Foundation team!

Aidan graduated from Loyola University New Orleans in 2025 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and a minor in Marketing. While at Loyola, Aidan was a member of the Women’s Golf Team and served as President of Loyola’s chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi. She continued her education at Loyola, earning her Master of Business Administration while serving as an assistant coach for the Men’s and Women’s Golf teams. Aidan’s background as a collegiate golfer and coach, along with her passion for marketing and giving back to her community, led her to the Kelly Gibson Foundation. After working with the Kelly Gibson Junior Golf Tour this summer, we knew it was a natural fit, and we are eager to see all of the amazing things she will do as a member of the Kelly Gibson Foundation team!

The Kelly Gibson Foundation, along with our community partners, proudly awarded 23 scholarships totaling $52,700 to members of the Kelly Gibson Junior Golf Tour last night.

Since 2010, we have awarded 415 scholarships totaling $952,500 to deserving junior golfers in our community.

Congratulations to all of our scholarship recipients, and thank you for your participation in the 2026 Kelly Gibson Junior Golf Tour presented by Crown Buick GMC and the Oscar J. Tolmas Trust Mentorship Program.

It was great having Billy Nungesser Lt. Governor of Louisiana out at the LCMC Health Mackel Celebrity Scramble In Partnership With Lamarque Auto Complex this weekend!
