So I prayed for a widow in person.

I quoted a song I’ve listened to for years when I prayed. ‘God rise up in the power of Your might and stop the constant flow of blood and tears.’

Now her tears and sadness I knew about. I had no idea she had leaks and apparently an aneurism in her heart. That’s blood issues.

Blood issues that I ignorantly prayed for.

But God ain’t ignorant.

Glory to God!!

He’s loves y’all widows and orphans. He fights your cause always and will never abandon y’all. I know the pain mounts and the loss detracts but He will never take away without redeeming or leave you alone. Ever.

However, y’all must remain faithful to Him with all your little hearts. Ever.

I just met with Kelly Bratton. He owns the gym in Hammond and they picked The Widow’s Knight to support as their community outreach partner for this quarter. They do this in their annual mission to be effective and supportive of local nonprofit works and charities so that recipients of care can be further served. Surely a mighty move for God’s kingdom!

Kelly has a heart for community and family. His faith is paramount in his service and duties in his life. We spoke at length about how we share very similar mission parameters.

I wanted to share his business as opportunity for us all to be more fit and support this partner, Iron Sharpens Iron Fitness Gym, who has stepped up to serve widows and orphans with The Widow’s Knight work. Let’s please show love to this business who has stepped up to make a difference right here at home.
