On behalf of the Members of VFW Post 8852, we would like to THANK the entire community for their unwavering support after we posted the Vandelism of the Post this week. Reading the responses from others, the Community has felt the same effect.
We hope that you continue to fight through this as well. Though this is a setback but as a Non-Profit Organization it will not stop us from continuing to support the Verterans, their Families, and the Community.

We would like to inform the CENLA Community that someone has vandalized "our" VFW Post 8852. "Tens" of Thousands of dollars in damage has been done to 3 of the 4 newly installed HVAC Units; which are now "worthless" after this criminal act. And for what maybe 30 dollars worth of scrap metal and aluminum! We would like the Community's help in identifying and catching these criminal(s). Local authorities have been notified. If anyone knows or hear of anything, please contact Alexandria Police Department immediately. "When" they are caught they "will" be prosecuted to the full extent of the law!
