Happy Wednesday from the Giving Cabinet! A huge thank you first goes to someone who started as a supporter and now is a dear friend, Lori for the Amazon delivery of 1 40 can of wet cat food and a 12 pack of wet dog food, what a huge relief this morning when they arrived and of course her note made me sob 😭another huge thank you Linda for a 32 pack of wet cat food. We also received 6 $10.00 Tuesday donations (I do not know of they want their names mentioned) but it is enough to purchase another box of toilet paper. Thank you to M.S. she is sending laundry pods that will arrive on Friday. I am beyond grateful because after seeing how low we were on so many items I was feeling defeated and concerned how much longer I could continue the cabinets. As always there are no better supporters than the giving cabinets supporters ❤️

Happy $10.00 Tuesday from the Giving Cabinet! Yesterday I went to organize and do inventory of items running low and the list is growing 😪 I am almost out if the following, laundry pods, dry cat & dog food, wet cat food, shampoo & conditioner, toilet paper and paper towels. I realize it’s thought for so many, which is why the cabinets are used as frequently as they are and donations have severely decreased but hopefully with this $10.00 Tuesday I can order a few of these items that will last awhile. Happy Friday from the Giving Cabinet! The last book bag was picked up yesterday, and I just wanted to thank everyone who donated to help make it possible, you guys are the absolute best 😎. I just want to dry out the cabinets if needed from the rain today and even though I write on the containers the laundry detergent one was taken. I will order one from target they have 156 load armer hammer one for $14.69, but we also are down to only 6 cans of wet cat food and I am waiting for the dryer sheets to arrive. Happy Wednesday from The Giving Cabinet! We received a $25.00 $10.00 Tuesday donation yesterday ☺️ so because my hopes are to stock up on a few items the best way to maximize it and be able to check one thing off it’s to out it towards dryer sheets. I am going to take advantage of target buy 3 get $10.00 gift card offer and then add the $10.00 to purchase 2 more. If we receive anymore $10.00 Tuesdsy donations it will go towards pet food. Happy $10.00 Tuesday from the Giving Cabinet! Jennifer Fiore if you see this can you please reach to me I am attempting to message you and it says it can not send. I also have some one who can’t pick up their book bags so one has become available for a boy ages 4-10. Now that I am focused back in the cabinets the list of running extremely low on is growing so I want to focus on stocking up on 4 items, laundry pods, dryer sheets and wet cat & dog food, so any $10.00 Tuesday donations will be added together so that o can buy a few of each. Happy Saturday from the giving cabinet! Pick ups have begun for the book bags, please check your messages ☺️. I want to say thank you to each and every person who help make this possible for the 5th year, I could never do this without each and everyone of you. Donations have been way down and the need keeps growing so please know how much those that support the cabinets are truly a blessing ti me and so many. I already shifted my focus back into the cabinets and we are in need of dryer sheets, dry cat food, wet dog & cat food and womens razors, so $10.00 Tuesdays will be my focus again next week to try to get those items stocked, now that book bags are finished. Happy $10.00 Tuesday from the Giving Cabinet! I have 2 huge thank you’s to give one is to D.C. for her generous donation of the remaining book bags ☺️ which is so amazing because now all the remaining bits & bobs have been ordered. The second is to K.M. she dropped off well over 100 tubes of various kinds of Colgate toothpastes, also absolutely amazing. It is such a relief to be done with the book bags and just waiting on deliveries so o can put my focus back on the cabinets again. Happy Monday from the Giving Cabinet! We still 2 more $35.00 book bag donations to reach the 32 goal and completely finish for all age groups 😎. I am also posting today to rant a bit, sorry but it’s over due. Last night a women came to use the cabinets, it was late but the cabinets are located underneath my bedroom window & I get both ring notifications. I have so much empathy to anyone that has to come to someone’s home late at night for basic needs but with that being said she emptied out the extra large mason jar I keep laundry pods in and filled it to the brim with the liquid detergent. Today when I went to restock the cabinets obviously the mason jar was gone and the new liquid detergent is almost empty, there was no pet food wet or dry either. If this individual reads this or anyone else who uses the cabinets please know taking that amount of anything is devastating to others and to me too because donations have completely gone way down and at times I struggle just to keep items in there. I have smaller bottles with lids in the cabinets for the liquid items and only taking what you need to get by not a few weeks worth is just considerate. I can not restock the cabinets every time some one comes so I place 20 laundry pods when needed for example and there are those that take all of them each and every time. I put 4 rolls of toilet paper each time instead of taking one they take all 4. The cabinets weren’t wiped out but almost everything had to be restocked. I simply do not know a work around to prevent this other than asking those to think of others, if you need toilet paper take one roll, 6 laundry pods so you are able to do a few loads of laundry and so can others, because without donations I can not promise those items will always be available when you need them in the future. I try everyday to post to bring awareness to the cabinets, 50/50’s, raffles giving back to donators, and anything else I can think of to keep this going and yes it is getting harder and harder every month with the need only growing, so please know I will do this until I simply am out of options but take only what is absolutely necessary so the cabinets can help others too.
